What did you do last summer?

Last summer I was in Germany for two months. It was the most wonderful experience I ever had.

I was in Vechta at a festival and I had fun there with my friends. I was fascinated by all the things that left me breathless. Of course, I wasn't in Germany to have fun. So I will tell you about what I worked there...

 

We were picking raspberries, strawberries, mulberries and plums. Sometimes we went weeding and hacking. They had different prices: a chest of raspberries was 2 €, one of strawberries was 1.8 € and a chest of mulberries had a price of 2.2 €. The plum harvest, weeding and hacking was paid by hours with 6.05 € an hour. I think that the most difficult was the strawberry picking because you had to knee for kilometers and it resulted serious back and knee pain. 
Although the work was hard, I loved living there. I was cooking in all my free time and I get used to live with my boyfriend. He always bought me flowers.

 We also visited Bremen twice and I had a pet: LongEar, my bunny. It was a summer that I will never forget!
